About HipTrac

The Company

HipTrac was invented in 2010 by Dr Tony Rocklin and his company MedRock Inc. Dr. Rocklin saw a great need for HipTrac after years of experience helping patients manage the signs and symptoms of hip osteoarthritis. For the past 20 years he has had a special interest in manual and manipulative therapy of the hip joint which led to creating HipTrac to help people living with hip arthritis. In 2012 HipTrac was cleared by the FDA for use and sale in the US.

In the US there are 18 – 24 million people living with some level of hip osteoarthritis and the numbers are set to continue rising.

In 2013 World Masters Champion sprinter Mark Dunwell was diagnosed with arthritis in both his hips. He started looking for something other than pain relief medication to help him manage this condition and found HipTrac. Over the next two years Mark and Tony worked closely together to bring HipTrac to the UK and Ireland. In 2015 HipTrac UK Limited was born.

In 2013 it was estimated that over 2.1 million people in the UK sought treatment for osteoarthritis of the hip and as in the US the numbers are set to continue rising.
